Submitted by: Mike Jones Date: August 28, 2007 Location: Azle, TX We had haze and some clouds around 4AM here in Azle, then they cleared and it was beeeeeyootiful! That was a DARK eclipse! Maybe a 1-1.5 out of 5 on the Danjon scale. I must have taken over 200 shots while Dee watched it with binoculars. I even got Jacob up and he watched for quite a while, and Laura came over till she had to go to work. Here are four shots I took. The file names are the times when I clicked the shutter. Equipment was a 5" f/8 refractor on an equatorial tracking mount, with my Canon XTi at ASA 400 and exposures from 5 to 8 seconds. Enjoy!
